Winter 2023 Filming Chargers Theme
WORD Warriors– “Empowering communities with knowledge on protecting People and the Planet.”
WIN-TV’s Filming Chargers are partnering with the local non-profit organization Green Eco Warriors to use the power of media to create visionary, thought provoking and youth-driven media to bring awareness to environmental and sustainability issues.
Chargers will learn aspects of media production, editing and special effects to create programming which will be shared locally and nationally through WIN-TV and Green Eco Warriors. Students will also brainstorm, write, produce, crew and appear in a new show called WORD Warriors. WORD Warriors will bring environmental stories to a wider audience through storytelling and animation.
