An internship at WIN-TV provides students from ages 16-106 with hands-on learning experience in TV production, community media and media literacy.

  • Assisting with after school program (if needed)

Interns commit to a regular amount of hours per week, for a specific time frame.  They are exposed to all phases of production in access television so that they get a full understanding of what it requires to make programming from inception to putting it on the schedule.

Volunteers normally are interested in more specific areas, which they work in around their schedules at times and days that are convenient for them.

You need to be a minimum of 16 years old to intern at WIN-TV. If you are under 18 you require the consent of a parent. Student may be eligible for community service hours fulfillment, or college credit. Non-students may intern for resume experience. All prospective interns must interview in person.

  • Interns must commit to 10  hours/week, Monday through Friday. Some hours during weekday evenings or on the weekend may be required according to the event and production calendar.
  • The minimum required commitment is one semester.
